Big Ten Rentals was started in 1981 with a $50 compact refrigerator. Initially run out of a University of Iowa dorm room, in 1986 Big Ten Rentals moved to a commercial location. That same year we became incorporated and expanded our inventory to include tents.
Today Big Ten Rentals' inventories of tents, bleachers, flooring, audio and video equipment, lighting, food service equipment and more fill over 40,000 square feet.
Our vast tent inventory places us among the top providers of quality tents in Iowa and the Midwest. Our inventory includes the largest and most versatile tents in the industry. We can accommodate nearly any situation, with heating, air conditioning, lighting and flooring for the event.
We are also the largest provider of Interactive Entertainment in the state. Big Ten Rentals was one of the first in the country to introduce Interactive Entertainment. We have consistently been the leader in this market with over 20 cutting edge interactive inflatable games, carnival equipment, and more.
